Van Duijn De Jong Aubergines is a large-scale, innovative and sustainable greenhouse horticulture company. Producing aubergines is our passion – one that our growers have been pursuing for around 60 years. The two family businesses Gebr. Van Duijn and Auberginekwekerij De Jong merged in 2023 under the name Van Duijn De Jong Aubergines, creating an operation with 39 hectares of aubergines. Altogether, Van Duijn De Jong Aubergines grows, grades and packs more than 23 million kg of aubergines every year. Joining forces has produced a strong management team in which two generations of entrepreneurs are represented. This enables us to ensure the continuity and future of our business. The next generation is already being prepared to take over at the helm in due course.

Greenbrothers is a greenhouse horticulture company that specialises in growing and packing aubergines. The business is managed by brothers Frank and Ben Groenewegen. We believe it is important to help ensure a healthy future for the world’s population by growing aubergines in a sustainable, reliable and effective way. With 16 hectares of aubergines, Greenbrothers is the biggest aubergine nursery in the Netherlands, harvesting 9.5 million aubergines per year.

Van Onselen Aubergines B.V. is a greenhouse horticulture company that specialises in aubergines and has a successful track record dating back 25 years. The aubergines are grown in state-of-the-art greenhouses that create the ideal climate and protect the plants against harmful insects and adverse weather conditions, enabling us to grow top-quality aubergines. Harmful insects are tackled using biological controls wherever possible. The aubergines are packed on site by a team of experienced workers for whom food safety and product quality are a top priority. The company is now being run by the third generation of Van Onselens.
